Treatment Options for Sustainable Well-Being
When treating depression, I use several evidence-based approaches that have been proven effective. Psychotherapy helps identify underlying causes and protective patterns, allowing for healing and sustainable changes within ourselves and our worldviews. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) addresses a deeper understanding of our emotions and their ability to guide us forward, while ART is used to reprocess traumatic memories often linked to depression.
Understanding how your nervous system responds to stress is also a key part of treatment. By incorporating polyvagal theory, I help you recognize your body’s responses, fostering a sense of safety and deeper healing. A multi-discipline approach, incorporating medical providers, along with psychotherapy can sometimes provide the best results.
Whatever the path, my goal is to create a safe environment where you can uncover your inner strength and begin healing.
